aka my fav studio Ghibli movie and one of my ALL TIME FAV MOVIES EVER
Welp, a quick (for me) rough art sketch I decided to do last minute.
I like drawing rainbows, and tears, and this BASICALLY looks like my other fairy drawings PLUS BONUS she turned out bald, so let's just lump it with that art collection of mine. Eheh.
This didn't come out quite the way I envisioned it, but because I like drawing tears, rainbows, and rainbow tears, chances are I'll redraw it later down the line. The idea was inspired by a pic on tumblr someone else drew and I can't find now BUT I'll link it if I do, and the other reason is cause I figure if I could, I would cry out my color...? It is 3 am. This logic applies. Don't argue.
The third and final thing I would like to say is that as I was drawing I was listening to a really sad song and I just wanna call out some BS on the whole growing up and leaving the nest thing.

I don’t really like voicing strong opinions on stuff so you can disagree but I just want to say I think it’s really wrong that the media and common opinions say things like “They grow up too fast” and “Enjoy these moments while they last” and “They have to leave sometime”
I’m calling it, ladies and germs. Yes, life goes on and sometimes things change, but I don’t think they have to be sad, and I don’t think we need to spend so much time worrying about things and wishing they could go back to the way they were. Life changes to go on to better things, and I think if you really have a connection with someone and miss them truly then you’ll see them again someday and I’m really tired of commercials and movies and songs and stupid people reminiscing and emotionally manipulating you about times gone by because chances are you’re not remembering the whole picture - “Oh, for the days of summer, when I was but a lad of 12 - “ well, do you remember the mosquitos and bug bites and putting on gross oily sunscreen and food melting and everything being hot and humid air and baking sun and no energy from the heat? I DIDN’T THINK SO. STOP TRYING TO MAKE THE PAST THIS UNACHIEVABLE SAD MEMORY THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. MAKE WAY FOR NEW ONES. DON’T SAY GOODBYE, SAY “I’LL SEE YOU AGAIN SOON”. THIS IS WHY PLACES LIKE DISNEYLAND EXSIST SO YOU CAN RELIVE HAPPINESS WHENEVER. Jesus. I’m done.
Ok, stepping off soapbox. This is just my opinion. I'll stop listening to sad music when I draw maybe. Carry on.
