Dark Pheonix: Swansong

If this has been done by someone I apologize. I REMEMBER getting the idea for this a few months after the movie came out BUT I knew that if I wanted to do it properly it would take DAYS and my patience back then is just as good as it is now, so after a few half hearted attempts I shelved it and vowed one day to return. 

Here we are, and in my avoidance to finish drawing OTHER shelved projects, I started something new! (palm>face)

So this is Famke Janssen aka Jean Grey as Dark Pheonix - now, the actual poster for black swan is taken at a different angle but here’s the photo ref I used for her face and nose shape (month was a different one) so here’s what I got. 

ALSO here’s a picture of her as Jean link AKA the exact same picture of her but without the makeup cause it shows off her face better and I didn’t do all this work for it to not be shown (if that came off as snotty I apologize, I was going for bitter)

FUN FACT: I hated the ending to Black Swan so much I stood up in the theater and proceeded to scream at the screen ending credits. But other than that it was an ok movie. The CGI was AMAZING.
